My initial reaction to this reading was 58.4 million dollars.....for a balloon dog thats craziness. But when you think about it, art is valued differently by many people. We all interpret an art piece differently. I found it interesting the way digital art was approached in this article. How the internet has become a place for modern art and is described as the "museum" of art today. I really thought about this. Art today is technically accessible to everyone. Even the art in the museums can be found and seen online. I found it funny how Michael Green put his GIF up for $5, 800 in representation of the $58.4 million balloon dog, while his was only a GIF. However, his GIF is art and a super cool piece. I got looking into some gifs myself and found some fun ones.
